I did Pro Engineer Wildfire 2 modeling and detailing for NASA related Space Shuttle, Space Station, and Lunar Lander Projects. I worked on plastic, cast, steel, sheet metal objects, and added GD & T markups when given. Jacobs is NASA’s primary engineering contractor. I also used Windchill here.

Technical writing for Digital Appliance Controls. Using Word, AutoCAD, and Visio Technical, I documented PC automated test equipment by writing a User Guide and Training Guide. The project involved AutoCAD 3d solid modeling and illustration, interpreting electrical schematics and logic, use of a scanner, use of photo editing software, intensive interviewing, and “reverse engineering.” Lastly, I also designed a solenoid actuated test fixture modification and I supervised technicians on its construction.

My designs in some way used DFM concepts to streamline product cost and complexity. I did 2d and 3d AutoCAD 14 work, and trained a coworker on AutoCAD. Lastly, I organized and maintained the engineering drawing files.
